Freeland, Wash., based Nichols Brothers Boat Builders (NBBB) has appointed Lacey Greene as vice president, new construction sales.

Everett Ship Repair names its second dry dock

Everett, Wash., based Everett Ship Repair, LLC (ESR) has now put its second floating dry dock into service. It made its formal debut at a naming ceremony and grand opening hosted by the shipyard on May 4.

Now named Emerald Lifter, as a tribute to Puget Sound, also known as the Emerald Sea, the former Zidell 220 was relocated to ESR’s facility at the Port of Everett last month. After maintenance and preservation work by the shipyard. it was put into operation on May 3, with its first drydocking.

Moving towards its goal of operating as a green, environmentally conscious Pacific Northwest shipyard, Everett Ship Repair LLC (ESR) has taken delivery of two new 40,000 psi ultra-high-pressure (UHP) water blasting systems.

Nichols Brothers parent adds ship repair facility

Ice Cap Holdings LLC has expanded its shipyard portfolio to include a service and repair facility in Everett, Wash. Everett Ship Repair LLC (ESR) was established earlier this month by Ice Cap, the parent company of Nichols Brothers Boat Builders (Ice Floe LLC).
