Global Ports and Hua Xin Container Lines to expand container transportation between China and Russian Far East

Global Ports, part of the Delo Group, and Chinese container shipping company Hua Xin Container Lines signed an agreement on 11 September to expand cargo transportation between China and Russia.

Petrolesport adds two new reachstackers to its cargo handling equipment fleet

Petrolesport (PLP), a multifunctional marine terminal in the Big Port of Saint Petersburg has put into operation two new reachstackers with increased loading capacity.

PLP is a part of the Global Ports Group, the largest operator of container terminals in the Russian market by capacity and container throughput.

Global Ports Group’s Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC) has received ten Kalmar terminal tractors and ten Seacom semitrailers.

Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company opens new vehicle entry gate facility

Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC), part of Global Ports Group, located at the port of Vostochny in Russia, commissioned a new vehicle entrance gate facility (VGF), linking the terminal to Artem – Nakhodka – port of Vostochny road.

Global Ports’ VSC increases container inspection capacity

Global Ports Group has upgraded the inspection facilities at its container terminal Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC), located in the Russian port of Vostochny, increasing the terminal’s capacity for containerised cargo inspection by 33%.

New transit intermodal service launched from China to Europe

The freight transport company TransContainer has started a new intermodal container service, connecting China with Germany via the Russian Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT) of the Port of Ust-Luga.

Global Ports terminal launches base station equipment

The Global Ports operated Petrolesport (PLP) terminal and the Russian digital services provider Rostelecom have put into operation a base station at the terminal to ensure full coverage with a service data transfer network across PLP’s handling complex.

Global Ports served the100th intermodal Maersk AE19 service

The terminals Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC) and First Container Terminal (FCT) of Global Ports Group which provides transit cargo handling in the Baltic and the Far East, served the 100th transcontinental intermodal service Maersk AE19, organized in partnership with the transportation company Modul.
