Høglund Signs FGSS Deal For LR2 Tankers

Høglund has signed a contract with Guangzhou Shipyard International to supply the fuel gas supply system (FGSS) for four LR2 product/crude oil tankers, reports The Motor Ship.

Ship Delivery

The 114,000dwt newbuildings have been ordered by China Bank of Communications Financial Leasing (BoComm Leasing) and will be delivered between December 2021 and August 2022.

The dual-fuel LR2 vessels will be chartered by Shell following delivery.

Wärtsilä Bags Major Ro-pax Engine and Scrubber Order

Wärtsilä has announced its portfolio of products, systems, and integrated solutions.
This enables the company to be a single-source provider for shipbuilding projects.
The order includes four Wärtsilä 46 main engines, four Wärtsilä 20 auxiliary engines, and two hybrid V-SOx exhaust gas cleaning systems for each vessel valued for €30mn.

Pangaea Orders Two High Ice Class Ships and Long-Term Financing

Pangaea Logistics has placed an order for high ice class post-Panamax dry bulk 95,000 dwt.
The four ships are expected to be delivered in April and May 2021 costing $37.7 million each.
The ships will be bareboat chartered for 15 years to entities that are controlled by a new joint venture company.
