Stena and ABP in £100m deal to build new Humber terminal at Immingham

Stena Line and Associated British Ports (ABP) are to develop a new terminal at the UK Humber port of Immingham.

More than 25% of trucks leaving the UK for EU are empty as exports dive

More than a quarter of the trucks crossing into the EU from the UK are travelling empty, as Brexit eats into UK export figures.
Data from the Road Haulage Association (RHA) shows empty lorries leaving the UK accounted for 26% of all truck movements into the EU, with total loaded haulage exports down 47% last month, compared with last year.

‘The shambles that is Felixstowe port is costing everyone time and money’

The UK’s biggest container port at Felixstowe (POF) is buckling under the strain of a “sharp spike in import volumes”, triggering hauliers and forwarders to criticise the management’s “contemptuous attitude” towards them.
