Hydrex Underwater Scrubber Sea Chest Installation

Hydrex recently installed sea chests on two sister vessels. The Hydrex team installed overboard discharge boxes in the hull plating of these tankers during their stop in Rijeka, Croatia, says an article published on Hydrex website.

Propeller Blade Repairs in Antwerp and Tenerife

Last month a team of Hydrex diver/technicians traveled to Tenerife for an underwater propeller blade straightening on a 246-meter cruise ship. Almost simultaneously another team cropped the heavily bent blades of a 200-meter vehicle carrier in Antwerp. In both the cases, the best solution was offered to the customer to restore the propeller’s efficiency as close to the original condition as possible, says a press release on their website.

Underwater Bow Thruster Reinstallation in Italy

A month after the hydrex workers removed the bow thruster of a 300-meter container vessel their men once again mobilized to Italy. They reinstalled the overhauled unit underwater with the use of our flexible mobdock technique, an analytical report published on the Hydrex website shows.
