ADNOC inks deal to convert LNG tanker for FSU charter

ADNOC L&S along with Atlantic Gulf & Pacific (AG&P) shake their hand and inked a 15-year agreement concerning a floating LNG storage unit in Karaikal, India. Under the terms of the charter deal, ADNOC will provide one of its 8 LNG vessels, a 137.756 cbm Moss-type LNG tanker that would be converted to an FSU.

Japan’s LNG price import to fall during 2020

Japan’s Institute of Energy Economics recently issued its 2020 Energy Outlook in Japan and World, highlighting that region’s average LNG import price is set to low. Namely, the Institute estimates a drop from around $10 per million British thermal units (mBtu) in 2019 to below $9 per mBtu during 2020.

Japan’s first LNG-fueled vessel completes 100th LNG bunkering

According to a recent statement, the tugboat Sakigake, Japan’s first LNG-fueled vessel, was supplied with LNG as fuel for the 100th time since its delivery in 2015.

In fact, the LNG bunkering was conducted safely and efficiently from a tank truck at the No. 5 quay of Shinko, Yokohama.

Grain LNG sets record for gas send-out from a European terminal

Grain LNG, Europe’s largest LNG terminal, exported the highest ever amount of gas in a single day from any European terminal into the UK network. The terminal, situated on the Isle of Grain in the Thames estuary, exported 698 GWh of gas, beating its previous record by more than 100 GWh.
