BW LNG conducts naming ceremony for two LNG carriers

BW LNG shipping company, part of BW Group, conducted a naming ceremony for two of its new LNG carriers on September 7. The two vessels named BW Pavilion Aranda (H2489) and BW Magnolia (H2490), were constructed by South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

According to BW LNG, both vessels have the capacity to transmit 174,000 cubic meters and are the third and fourth in a current series of seven newbuildings with MEGI propulsion and state-of-the-art reliquefaction systems.

FERC Accord Positive Review To Sabine Pass LNG Berth Expansion

Sabine Pass LNG received a positive environmental assessment from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, reports Platts.
