Singapore’s Pavilion Energy Charters First LNG bunker Vessel

In a major development, Singapore’s Pavilion Energy announced on Monday that they have chartered their first liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel which would be used in bunkering, or marine refueling, in the city-state, reports Reuters.

The 12,000-cubic meter LNG bunker vessel, the biggest such ship set for use in the Port of Singapore, will be owned by Japan’s Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), built by Sembcorp Marine in Singapore and will be delivered by early 2021, Pavilion Energy said.
