Metal Shark wins Fire Island Ferries construction contract

Jeanerette, La, headquartered Metal Shark has been awarded a contract to build a new vehicle ferry for Fire Island Ferries. Designed by Elliott Bay Design Group, the 70 foot x 23 foot vessel features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.
