The Roatan Dream, a new 41-meter catamaran built by Harvey, La., shipbuilder Midship Marine and designed by Incat Crowther is now in service with Island Ferries S.A. in Honduras, operating on the busy tourist route between the mainland town of La Ceiba and the Caribbean islands of Utila and Roatan.

Delivered in December, Seastreak Courageous, the largest capacity high-speed ferry in the U.S., is guided by quality Furuno marine electronics. Built by the Midship Marine shipyard in Harvey, La, the 720-passenger vessel boasts many upgrades from earlier designs in the Seastreak fleet including a comprehensive suite of Furuno electronics, installed by Michael Matta and his team at GMT/Mackay.
Starting Memorial Day weekend, ferry operator Seastreak will resume its summer service connecting New York City and Highlands, N.J., to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
