PAO NOVATEK (NOVATEK) announced that as part of the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum, its wholly owned subsidiary, NOVATEK Gas & Power Asia Pte. Ltd., and Zhejiang Energy Gas Group Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of the Zhejiang Provincial Energy Group (Zhejiang Energy) signed a Heads of Agreement for the long-term supply of LNG from the Arctic LNG 2 project, reports lngindustry.

NOVATEK Completes Russia’s First Ship-To-Ship LNG Transshipment In Murmansk Region

PAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) announced that NOVATEK-Western Arctic, a wholly-owned subsidiary, completed Russia’s first ship-to-ship LNG transshipment in the Kildin Strait of the Barents Sea. The Arc7 ice-class LNG tanker “Nikolay Yevgenov” successfully reloaded an LNG cargo delivered from the Yamal LNG facility at Sabetta to the conventional tanker “Yamal Spirit”.

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL), announced that charter agreements were signed for three icebreaking liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers with LLC ARCTIC LNG 2, the largest shareholder of which is PAO NOVATEK, through a wholly-owned subsidiary of MOL on October 28. The three vessels will be built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd and are scheduled for delivery in 2023.
