As reported earlier, United European Car Carriers (UECC), jointly owned by Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) and Wallenius Lines, has signed a contract to construct three new generations PCTC with China Ship Building Trading Co., Ltd and Jiangnan Shipyard Group Co. Ltd.

“K” Line To Receive Next-Generation Environmental-Friendly LNG Fueled Car Carrier

n December 2018, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line) placed an order for a car carrier vessel fueled by LNG (liquefied natural gas) with Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. as a next-generation car carrier vessel with a reduced environmental load.
