Kalmar to enhance German box terminal

Kalmar has signed an agreement with NTB North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven GmbH & Co. (NTB) to supply additional 12 hybrid Kalmar Straddle Carriers for the German container terminal.

“This investment in hybrid technology will help us pave the way for a more eco-efficient future at our terminal,” said general manager finance and administration, NTB.

Hamburg congestion forces 2M Alliance to port rotation changes

Hapag-Lloyd stops calling Bremerhaven Port

Hapag-Lloyd operated Baltic/Nordic short sea services (REX, SDX, BAX and PEX) will structurally stop calling the port of Bremerhaven by week 1 2019 and will only call Hamburg (CTA & CTB) in future.
