Ports of Kaohsiung and Busan ink sister port deal

The ports of Kaohsiung and Busan signed a sister port agreement in a ceremony on 29 August at the headquarters of the Busan Port Authority (BPA) in South Korea.

Busan Port develops monitoring technology to prevent container stack collapses

KOBC develops container trade freight index on sea routes from Korea

Port congestion balloons box rates on South Korea – Russia trade

The Japan International Freight Forwarders Association has announced that in 2021, container trade between South Korea and Russia has been sharply increased, mainly driven by the transportation of auto parts and components, as well as chemical products.

Busan container terminal orders new Konecranes equipment

Busan New Container Terminal (BCNT) has ordered six Noell Sprinter Carriers from the port equipment manufacturing company Konecranes, to complement its existing fleet of 36 Sprinter Carriers.

HMM given until 1 September to settle labour dispute – More than half company’s seafarers to move to MSC
