Ferry operators ramp up capacity ahead of 2022 customs changes

DFDS has made an agreement with fellow ferry operator CldN to ramp-up channel ferry capacity in anticipation of January’s new UK customs regime.

Immingham to receive new STS cranes in the Summer

Associated British Ports (ABP) has announced that two new ship-to-shore (STS) cranes worth £11.5 million (US$14.3 million) have left manufacturers in China on their way to the Port of Immingham, UK’s largest port by tonnage, as part of the Humber Container Terminal expansion.

Six electric RTG crane arrival at Immingham

This week, six electric rubber tyre gantry cranes arrived from China to the Port of Immingham as part of the Project Pilgrim expansion of the container terminal.
