The first World Ports Climate Action Programme (WPCAP) congress will take place in Rotterdam next May. Already more than 100,000 containers shipped via Intercity Barge

Since the start in early 2018, more than 100,000 containers have been transported via the Intercity Barge shuttle service. With the Intercity Barge, customers can pick up and deliver their containers at the location of their choice and are assured of timely delivery. The shuttle service connects the terminals of Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam on the Maasvlakte with the terminals and depots in the Waal- and Eemhaven area, the Botlek area, the Merwedehaven, Ridderkerk and Alblasserdam.

Busan to develop warehouse at Rotterdam port

Today (June 19), Busan Port Authority and Port of Rotterdam Authority signed a contract for the issue of a five hectare site on Maasvlakte Distribution Park West. Port of Rotterdam appoints new CFO

As of 1 July 2019 Vivienne de Leeuw has been appointed by the shareholders as the Port of Rotterdam Authority’s new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board. De Leeuw will succeed Paul Smits, who is stepping down after eight years as CFO of the Port Authority.
