The Port of Sines has seen significant growth in total container volumes during the first half of the year, demonstrating a remarkable economic recovery since the end of 2020.

Portugal to heavily invest in Port of Sines

Portuguese government on Thursday, July 18, announced an investment of 547 million euros in the expansion of the Port of Sines in the southwest of the country and an agreement to extend its concession from 2029 to 2049.

Port of Sines sees record-high container volume

Containerized Cargo continued to grow in the Port of Sines in 2018; Terminal XXI handled 1,75 millions of TEU, thus corresponding to 5% over the previous year.
