Stockholm Norvik Port to accommodate two new super-post-Panamax cranes

Port Felixstowe upgrades its rail connectivity

Hutchison Ports’ Port of Felixstowe, in the UK, upgraded its roll on – roll off facilities, with the new connection being the 36th daily service from the UK’s largest container port.

Specifically, UK’s Maritime Minister, Nusrat Ghani, paid a visit to the port, inspecting the site of work.

This new upgrade will enable the port to accommodate larger ro/ro vessels and enhance the efficiency of vessel operations.

Ferry ticket from Limassol-Piraeus to cost €130 per person

Port of Piraeus, Greece will be from now on ferry connected to Limassol, Cyprus. According to the Shipping Deputy Minister of Cyprus, Natasa Pilides, efforts are underway in order the ferry trip to be launched and available by this summer. Port of Shanghai: world’s busiest container port for 2019

Port of Shanghai marked another high record container throughput during 2019, handling 43.3 million TEUs. Namely, the port noted a 3% increase in its cargo throughput, in comparison with the 42.01 million TEUs of 2018. LPG terminal opens in Gwadar

Gwadar port in Pakistan has opened its first LPG Terminal. The new facility was recently officially inaugurated by the Chinese Counsel General in Karachi, Li Bijian. Operations began with the arrival of the gas carrier Gas Esco, transporting 3,900 tonnes of LPG on a voyage from Sohar in Oman.

Adani Ports strengthens network with Krishnapatnam acquisition

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), is to acquire a controlling 75% stake in India’s Krishnapatanam Port Company Limited (KPCL) from existing shareholders. Bunker and logistics deals signal Duqm port’s ambition

NIMR International and the Port of Duqm Company have signed a long-term bunkering agreement for the former to supply bunker fuel at the Omani port. Port of Coos Bay, Port of Siuslaw on dredging project

The Oregon International Port of Coos Bay along with Port of Siuslaw and Business Oregon announced their collaboration, in order to complete the dredging operations in the inner boat basin of Port of Siuslaw.
