Located on the Arabian Gulf coast, King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam achieved record-breaking throughput in 2023 and early 2024.

The port handled 2,305,811 TEUs in 2023, marking a 13.10% increase compared to 2,038,787 TEUs in 2022.

Saudi container ports have seen a container decline in February moving 561,484 TEUs, translating to a 10% drop from the same month last year.

Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) reported 8,443,746 TEUs in 2023, marking a singificant increase from the 7,534,307 TEUs recorded in 2022.

Box volumes grow at Saudi ports

Saudi ports overseen by the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) have achieved a 16.85% growth in container throughput during November, reaching 737,530 TEUs.

Saudi ports increase box volumes in September

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has reported an 11.66% surge in container traffic across its trade hubs during September, handling 732,293 TEUs, in comparison to 655,831 TEUs a year earlier.

Mawani achieves container increase in August

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) announced that its ports achieved an increase in the number of handling containers during August by 4.79% year-on-year, moving 721,629 TEUs.
