U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg today announced the appointment of 25 new members to the Maritime Transportation System National Advisory Committee (MTSNAC).

La Asociación Española de Promoción del Transporte Marítimo de Corta Distancia (SPC Spain) ha dado a conocer este miércoles los resultados estadísticos del primer semestre del año, que confirman el impacto de la crisis provocada por el covid en los tráficos del short sea. Los datos globales, que incluyen el cabotaje, graneles y tráficos con las islas, se sitúan en un total de 119,7 millones de toneladas, lo que representa un 11,1% menos que en el mismo semestre de 2019.

Samskip relaunches Amsterdam-Hull as demand for multimodal services rises
Netherlands-based Samskip has reinstated its direct container service between Amsterdam and Hull, claiming shortsea market conditions have improved in favour of multimodal over road-ferry services.
