Texas carrier fined for supplying NASA with ‘potentially tainted rocket fuel’

Hankamer, Texas-based bulk chemical transporter Anahuac Transport Inc. has been fined $275,000 for supplying the Johnson Space Center in Houston with “potentially tainted rocket fuel.” Anahuac must also forfeit the $251,401 in gross proceeds it obtained during the fraud scheme and serve three years of probation.

Anahuac will be banned from federal government contracting for three years.
