The freight industry has warned of the potential for a fresh Brexit ferry fiasco after it emerged all British truckers will be required to have counter-terrorism safety security certificates to enter the European Union in the event of no deal.

The EU rule was introduced after the 9/11 attack on New York’s twin towers but only applies to third country freight entering the EU.

No barriers to Iranian vessels despite risk of US sanctions

Deputy Chairman of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (IMO), Hadi Haghshenas, says that despite the unjust US sanctions, there have been no barriers to Iranian vessels sailing in international waters.

Morocco Ports gain ground in global ranking -WSJ-

Morocco has invested heavily in ports infrastructure to become a competitor of its European neighbors, Spain and Portugal, in port-related items in international rankings, Jaime Pérez-Seoane de Zunzunegui, regional editor for North Africa for Oxford Business Group told the Wall Street Journal.
