The Digital Container Sipping Association (DCSA) today unveiled a new set of common standards for the tracking and tracing of shipping containers in global supply chains.

New standards published to advance the use of data from smart containers

The quest to develop a set of standards for data collected from smart containers has taken an important step forward.
The United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) has published its first set of standards which will help interoperability between different systems in the container supply chain.

New Digital Container Shipping Association is aiming to make a splash

A container shipping group to help coordinate the industry’s rapid digitisation has formally launched after a green light from the US Federal Maritime Commission.
