Titanium Transportation Group has acquired Bert and Son’s Cartage in a deal to fuel the future expansion of the Canadian firm’s Ontario-based trucking, logistics and warehousing business. 

The acquisition, announced Tuesday, gives Titanium (TSX-V:TTR) a small, family-owned carrier with around 30 trucks and — importantly — land, near its Brantford, Ontario, terminal and another facility in the city.

Titanium adds US brokerage office in Denver

Titanium Transportation Group has opened its fourth U.S. freight brokerage office, in Denver, the Canadian trucking and logistics firm said on Thursday as it pushed ahead with an increasingly key source of growth.

Titanium buys ITS, joins big leagues of Canadian trucking

Titanium Transportation Group (TSX-V:TTR) has acquired International Truckload Services Group (ITS) in a deal that vaults the cross-border trucking and logistics company to among the largest in Canada.

The CA$60 million ($47 million) acquisition, announced Friday, roughly doubles the size of Ontario-based Titanium’s fleet to nearly 900 trucks. ITS, also based in Ontario, has an annual revenue of about CA$80 million, providing cross-border and domestic truckload, in addition to logistics services.
