Maritime mourns loss of Angela Chao in a car accident

The Foremost Group said today that its chair and CEO, Angela Chao, had died in a car accident this past weekend.

The daughter of Foremost Group founder Dr. James S. C. Chao and sister of former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao, Angela Chao was named one of Marine Log’s Top Women in Maritime in 2021.
