Rem Offshore back at Vard for a third CSOV

Fosnavåg, Norway-headquartered Rem Offshore has signed a contract with Fincantieri Group member Vard covering the design and construction of a state-of-the-art CSOV. The vessel will be the third commissioning service operation vessel built by Vard for Rem offshore. The first two, Rem Power and Rem Wind, were delivered in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

Island Offshore orders innovative ocean energy construction vessel

Vard wins $200 million Toyo Construction cable layer contract

Fincantieri reports that its Norwegian subsidiary Vard has signed a contract worth more than $200 million to design and construct a hybrid-powered cable-laying and construction vessel for Japan’s Toyo Construction.
