China is now the largest container ship-owning nation

The German Shipowners’ Association (VDR) President Alfred Hartmann has said that China has surpassed Germany as the largest container ship-owning country.

New recommendation on performance standards for voyage data recorders

The Maritime Safety Committee of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines announced that it has adopted a revised recommendation on performance standards for voyage data recorders (VDRs) refer resolution MSC 333 (90).
