Damen delivers first vessel in new Multi Cat 2309 class

U.K. offshore crew transfer vessel operator HST Marine has taken delivery of the first of a new class of Damen Multi Cat, the 2309.

The new mid range model, measuring 23.4 meter long by 9.6 meter beam, is well-suited for a wide range of tasks and enables HST Marine to offer its clients workboat services such as marine logistics and general contracting alongside its crew transfer business.

Damen delivers new Shoalbuster 3815 SD

Kazakhstan-based Caspian Offshore Construction LLP recently took delivery of a new Damen Shoalbuster 3815 SD.

Named the Caspian Amwaj, the vessel was built for stock at Albwardy Damen, a joint venture between Albwardy Investment, Dubai and the Damen Shipyards Group, and was handed over just four weeks after the signing of the sales contract. It will initially be deployed on a project in the Arabian Gulf, Caspian Offshore’s first in the region.

Neptune Americas delivers workboat for Canadian renewables market

Neptune Americas & Marine, Houston, Texas, recently delivered The Tidal Pioneer (EuroCarrier 2611), a 26- by 11-meter (85- by 36-foot) workboat that is to be used for the growing Canadian renewable energy market.
