Xos partners with DLL on electric truck financing

In an effort to overcome the cost barriers to buying electric vehicles, electric truck maker Xos Trucks Inc. on Tuesday announced a partnership with DLL to help finance the leasing of its all-electric commercial vehicles.

DLL is a global asset finance company and subsidiary of Rabobank Group.

Electric truck startup gets purchase order from Dickinson Fleet Services

Electric vehicle startup Xos Trucks has inked a deal with Dickinson Fleet Services involving the purchase of five medium-duty, zero-emission, fully electric service trucks.

Under the order, the electric truck company will build and deliver five medium-duty vehicles that DFS, headquartered in Indianapolis, will dedicate to servicing electric vehicle fleets as well as traditional diesel fleets.

Xos gets first Class 8 electric truck deal from Hino

Startup Xos trucks originally pitched itself as a custom electric chassis maker for Class 8 trucks. After pivoting to medium-duty trucks, the company is back on mission with a contract from Japan’s Hino Trucks.

Startup Motiv gets $15M to scale electric truck component production

Motiv Power Systems can tap up to $15 million in cash from its largest shareholder as it catches up on pandemic-delayed orders for medium-duty electric truck software and power electronics.

GMAG Holdings Corp. is swapping cash for convertible notes that will grow its stake in the Foster City, California-based startup.

Xos Trucks raises $20 million for electric chassis

Electric mobility startupXos Trucks Inc. raised $20 million to keep up with orders for its modular chassis. The money is helping meet demand for underpinning medium-duty regional and last-mile delivery trucks with its X-Platform.
