The new container terminal at Walvis Bay which was constructed by Chinese company is 85 percent completed, chairperson of Walvis Bay Port Users Association Pillar Veiga said Tuesday, Feb. 05.
The capacity expansion of the new terminal will allow for increased productivity and efficiency, making Walvis Bay a more attractive trans-shipment hub and gateway into the region, he said.
