IMO 2020 Scrubbers Uptake – 4% of Vessels, 10% by Tonnage

4% of the world fleet plus order book is slated to have scrubbers.
A majority of this 4% is still waiting to get the exhaust gas cleaning units installed.
With 509 vessels currently fitted with scrubbers and 1,189 vessels pending retrofit.
In GT terms, vessels with scrubbers are equivalent to 10% of the global fleet over 2,000 GT and 32% of the orderbook.
