The large quantity of cocaine was allegedly found aboard a vessel at South America’s largest port, Santos.
Police claimed the drugs were found by two sniffer dogs in a container carrying fresh lemons packed in paper boxes and headed towards Cartagena. The group behind the alleged smuggling attempt are said to have intended to move their cargo to another vessel once in the port of Algeciras.
