North Sea output to decrease due to Ekofisk maintenance

Rystad Energy forecasts that oil production in the North Sea will decrease by 330.000 bpd month-on-month in June as Ekofisk shuts down for planned work. It is expected that the production will remain stable through April 2019, prior to dropping 80.000 bpd in May, Milan Rudel, analyst with Rystad Energy’s Oil Markets team reports.
