Egypt’s Suez Canal Authority has signed an 10 year agreement with the global towage services provider, Svitzer, to supply two newbuild tugs to operate in Port Said and the Suez Canal. The powerful 70 tonnes bollard pull ASD type tugs, which will facilitate the transit and port operation of larger vessels, will be built specifically to fulfil the agreement.
