“Port congestion in Banjul,Gambia is currently increasing our operation costs and generating significant service disruptions,” CMA CGM says in its announcement.
The French shipping company will therefore implement the following Emergency Port Congestion Surcharge [PCS] for cargo bound to Banjul until further notice as follows:
- From worldwide
- To Banjul, Gambia
- All cargo dry, reefer, OOG, breakbulk
- Payment: Prepaid in addition to Ocean freight
