A woman had to be transmitted to a hospital, after a BBQ day at the beach. The victim suffered second and third degree burns to her foot, when she stepped barefoot to pick the BBQ stones, as she didn’t think that the sand would have absorbed the heat of the BBQ stones.
The woman who suffered burn injuries reported that during their BBQ they used three disposable BBQs on the sand and when they finished cooking they put them out and left to cool. Four hours later, they began packing up to leave.
