Thailand has denied Laem Chabang port entry to Holland America Line’s Westerdam cruise ship due to the fear of the coronavirus.
The ship was scheduled to dock at the port in Thailand where it will end the trip on 13 February.
In a Facebook post, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul stated: “I have issued orders. Permission to dock refused.”
However, Deputy Transport Minister Atirat Ratanasate stated that the ship would receive fuel, medicine, and food from the country.
