Marine technology company Wartsila has launched an upgraded FuelFlex Injection Control Unit (ICU) solution.
The solution will meet the requirements of operating the RT-flex type two-stroke diesel engines on residual and low-viscosity marine fuels.
The solution will help the rising use of low-sulphur-content fuels to meet the sulphur emission regulations.
The solution by Wartsila can be retrofitted on vessels with Wartsila RT-flex96C-B and RT-flex84T-D two-stroke engines.
