The Kuwait Port Authority (KPA) and Kuwait’s Public Authority for Industry (PAI) have signed a memorandum of understanding to set up an industrial port in the south of the country, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). The plan is for the two organisations to first conduct a joint study into the project which aims to strengthen Kuwait’s market position worldwide and enhance local manufacturing capability.
