Asia Shipowners’ Association Urge Govts To Follow Crew Change Directive

In a major development, the Asian Shipowners’ Association (ASA) demanded seafarers relief amidst lockdown travel restrictions which has stranded several ship crews at sea making it impossible to conduct crew change., reports Safety4Sea. ASA held its 29th Annual General Meeting on 28th May 2020. The meeting covered a broad range of topics, such as seafarers repatriation, sustainable shipping, the Hong Kong Convention, and piracy.
