0330 UTC Oct 2: Still aground with 4-5 tugs at her side, trying to refloat her. USCG reported, that the ship was refloated with high tide at 1420 LT (UTC -4) Oct, but apparently, it’s not yet the case. Bulk carrier ran aground after propulsion failure (may it be caused by fuels mess, “thanks” to Sulphur and other Caps?), she’s loaded with grain.
1630 UTC UPDATE: Confirmed aground, starboard list and aft tilt, resting on sandy bottom. CG reportedly waiting for salvage plan. Understood refloating...
