Bulk Carrier Drifted After Engine Failure

Bulk carrier suffered engine failure and drifted in Bosphorus in Beykoz area, Istanbul, reports Maritime Bulletin. 

Bulk carrier SANTORINI started to drift in Bosphorus in Beykoz area, Istanbul, after suffering engine failure at around 0000 LT Oct 14. She was transiting Bosphorus in the southern direction. 

Judging from available visuals, the bulk carrier had dropped anchor in emergency, to avoid a serious accident.
