Freighter Drifted After Engine Failure

A general cargo ship suffered engine or mechanical failure and started to drift in the southern direction in the Crete sea, Greece, reports Maritime Bulletin. 

General cargo ship ASLI ELIF suffered engine or mechanical failure at night Oct 22 and started drifting in the southern direction in the Crete sea, south of Milos island, Greece. 

The ship was taken on tow in the morning Oct 23 by Greek tug MENTORAS (IMO 9061722), to port of destination, Marmaris Turkey.
