Two cargo ships were beached by typhoon last week at Cua Viet beach, Vietnam, reports Maritime Bulletin.

What happened?

Two cargo ships HOANG TUAN 26 and THANH THANH DAT 68 got beached by a typhoon last week at Cua Viet beach, North Central Vietnam. 

As of morning Nov 17, both ships remain aground. Salvage operation to refloat HOANG TUAN 26 is under way, with an excavator freeing the ship’s rudder from sand.
