General cargo ship RIX STAR ran aground at around 2300 UTC Jan 28 in Falkenberg harbor, Sweden, on arrival from Gothenburg, and blocked fairway, stopping all port’s in/out traffic. The ship is to undergo underwater survey during Jan 29, but authorities believe she won’t be refloated on Jan 29. RIX STAR is in ballast, she’s to load at Falkenberg cargo of scrap.
