DNV has introduced a new digital tool, EEXI Calculator, for clients to comply with the upcoming Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI).
The new regulation is anticipated to be adopted at the 76th meeting of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC 76).
If adopted, the regulation will come into force from January 2023.
