  1. So Mr. Secretary, how come an active Chief Petty Officer, FCAC Jeremy Wilcox dies on July 1,2021 in country Romania and his remains still haven’t left Romania to be returned to the U. S. and the 2001 SOFA makes no provisions for the return of remains for deceased active duty military personnel from Romania. Further why is the widows required to pay $80 out of pocket to have a notarized document requesting her husbands remains be sent to the United States instead of the Department of the Navy or State Department bearing that responsibility. This is totally unacceptable and needs to be fixed ASAP and never allowed to happen again!
