Offshore drilling firm Transocean said Wednesday it had secured contracts for two offshore drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. The contracts are worth $55.5 million in total.Transocean said that its Deepwater Conqueror drillship had won a one-well contract with “a major operator” in the U.S.
