Malaysian Authorities Seizes Norway Ship Anchored Without Permission

Malaysian authorities seized a Norwegian ship on 21st August after it anchored on the Malaysian coast without permission. The ship ‘Clipper Hermod’ that bore registration of Stavanger was allowed to leave.

According to a Malaysian Maritime Authority spokesperson, the ship had 20 crew members of 28- 58 years. The crewmembers hailed from Norway, Russia, Latvia, and the Philippines.
