Dutch company Value Maritime is set to install an on-board CO₂ capture and storage unit on Visser Shipping’s Nordica vessel next month.
To be operated by X-Press Feeders, Nordica is said to be the first vessel to capture and store CO₂ on board while in operation.
The new solution is designed to remove CO₂ from the vessel’s exhaust gas.
